Christian | Standing Stones Healing Co. The more I serve clients, the more I have impressions, cloudiness in my vision, see colors, feel temperature changes, and feel imbalance in my body while in certain areas of their body. I’ve had confirmation while working with a couple friends that what I had seen has connection to them. How do I ethically handle these experiences? I definitely have to ground myself & set boundaries, but I would like confirmation that I’m not crazy. No, you are not crazy at all! Images, sensations, impressions are all common while sending Reiki, and often our intuitive abilities increase as we practice. Personally, I receive lots of images while sending Reiki (though of course this is never a guarantee), and this is not actually something that means you aren't grounding enough or that you're being attacked or even something to fear. It is not actually a bad thing. If it feels right to you, I encourage you to continue grounding and clearing after a session, but it sounds like you're already doing a great job of that. As far as sharing the info, yes, it's always important to have permission to share and always important to make sure that you're offering it in as objective a way as you can without reading too much into it...and saying it in such a way that does not harm the client. Too often practitioners share information in a way that makes the client anxious. And...I have yet to have a client say no to any information I receive. I clear this with them before the session (with no guarantees that I'll receive any messages), but people usually know what to expect when they book with me, since I offer my Distant Reiki Healing Ceremonies live on Facebook to get an idea of the kinds of messages I receive.
