How Do I Choose a Reiki Class?

When it comes to choosing a class, there are many options, including in-person, online, individual training, group programs, live, and recorded sessions. You can take one level at a time or all levels back to back and from one Teacher or multiple. ​​​​

I personally encourage my students to take each level individually in order to fully integrate each level before moving on and to study with different Teachers in order to learn different information and techniques. ​​​


I also personally currently focus on teaching Reiki 1 both as a class and as an individual mentorship, so teachers can also teach in multiple ways. Learn more about how I teach and get an idea of how a Reiki class can be structured at here.

​But what's really important is what resonates with you. Reiki is life-changing...or at least it truly can be, and sometimes people aren't ready for the shifts and/or have unexpected experiences that can come from being attuned. Over the years, I have received many questions from people who received attunements that created major shifts and they had no Master to turn to for assistance. This is where having a dedicated, committed, and knowledgeable teacher can be most important...to help you manage and synthesize the experiences and energy. ​

Above all, it's most important for you to find the right fit for you. A Master Teacher who lives Reiki will understand that and encourage it.
