YouTube is awesome for all kinds of things...audiobooks, how-to tutorials, crazy cat videos. And it's also awesome for your Reiki business.
If you're not yet using this amazing tool for your Reiki business, this article just might encourage you to get on it.
Even if you don't want to be a YouTube star or grow a channel, it's still a powerful tool for our Reiki business. Here are three reasons why.
Perhaps the best thing about YouTube for your Reiki business is its longevity. Unlike other social media platforms, when you upload a video to YouTube, it doesn't disappear in a couple of days. It's searchable and viewable for years after you post. This means your videos gain more viewers and more traction over time instead of less.
When we think of having a YouTube channel for our Reiki business, we might think about long hours of creating and posting videos in order to grow a channel with views and subscribers, maybe in hopes of being a YouTube star.
But this is only one way to use YouTube. You can also upload videos to only share with select individuals or a small group of people, such as a meditation you give to your clients only or a recording of a session. I have used YouTube in this way, including as a way to store important videos I don't want to lose.
Aside from meeting us in person, video is the most powerful way for helping potential clients, students, and customers get to know us and our products. On video, people can see us, hear us, and get a feel for our energy. And having video of us and our Reiki space or products or a sample session on YouTube means that we have greater reach and visibility and people who don't know us can find us.
