Is it time to expand your Reiki business?
Maybe you're wondering what that even means. Read on for tips to know when it's time to expand your Reiki business.
Expansion in your Reiki business really means whatever you want it to and however you define it.
Expansion in our Reiki business can take an infinite number of forms....
It could mean advertising in a new way.
Or seeing clients 2 days a week instead of 3.
Or adding a service or product or course.
The great thing is you get to decide, and the real question is How do you want to expand?
Here are some tips for determining if it's time to expand your Reiki biz...
1. Define what it means to expand for you and for right now.
At different points on our Reiki business journey, expansion means different things. Right now, it simply might mean starting to take payments or telling your friends you're planning to open a Reiki business. And in a year, expansion might mean seeing clients 2 days per week instead of 1.
Not only does our definition of expansion evolve as our business evolves, but it's also important that we get clear on exactly what it means...and what it means to us personally. As the leader of your business, you are the one who ultimately gets to determine what expansion looks like.
2. Ask if you're a little too comfortable.
Does your business feel stagnant? Are you no longer trying new and different things? Sometimes on our Reiki business journey we can get a little too set in our Reiki business ways. Is it time to freshen things up a bit? Even expanding in the smallest of ways can bring in new energy and opportunities.
3. You don't have enough clients, students, income, or opportunities.
If what you're doing to bring in business isn't working, if your business income isn't meeting your business expenses, or if you just want your Reiki business to earn more, then definitely it's time to expand. But...
4. Reflect on if its time to go deeper in some aspect of your business.
We often think of expansion as going out, but sometimes it's more effective to go deeper. Maybe it would be more effective to bring in new clients by doing something more of what you're already doing...by asking for more referrals rather than starting Facebook ads. Or perhaps instead of training in another modality it's time to go deeper into one that you already offer. So maybe instead of adding tapping to your services, it's time to tap more deeply into your Reiki practice.
