Want to start a Reiki business? You will fail!

So you want to start a Reiki business? Awesome! Wonderful! Congratulations!
​But I'm sorry to tell you...you will fail! 

Now, before you send me a nasty note or blast me on social media, let me explain:  Failure is an integral part of the business process. In my own Reiki business, I have failed again and again and again. And it does not mean that I'm a bad Reiki business owner, don't know what I'm doing, or am doing anything wrong.

Because failing is actually right. It is right to fail in your Reiki business because it means you tried something new and did something different. It means that something just didn't work out as you expected or wanted it to, and trying things, failing, and trying again is an essential part of business.

You are going to fail in your Reiki business. As someone who has experienced my fair share of failures in my own Reiki business, I know you're going to try new things that aren't going to work like you want or expect. You might offer a discount on your Reiki sessions that no one purchases, you might offer a workshop that two people sign up for or create a class that no one registers for.

Expect these failures to happen.
But it's what you do after the failures that matter.

It's what you do after no one registers for your class or purchases your sessions that really matters. Use that information to learn, grow, make changes, and experiment. If you're doing it right, putting yourself out there, and trying new things, you will fail. It's part of being a Reiki business failure.

It's important, though, to remember that you are not a failure and your Reiki business is not a failure. It's simply feedback and information that we can use to move our Reiki business forward. If failure is an expected and important part of the process, then you are not a failure and your Reiki business is not a failure.

Now get out there and fail! Sending blessings to your failing!
