Is a Facebook Reiki Business Page Dead?

Is a Fb business page that important anymore? My IG and TikTok keep growing, by my Fb Reiki business page just remains dead.

Thank you for this question. Yes, in past years, it used to be much easier to get followers for your business page, and the business page also used to have a lot more options that could also help you increase visibility.

But Facebook has changed the algorithm and settings because they want businesses to be paying for ads. Facebook is a business and wants to make money, so they have capitalized on an opportunity and made unpaid traffic to your business page much more challenging.

I still think it's helpful to have one and to post on it because it shows you're here and helps to legitimize your business. Plus, it's a great place for collecting reviews and other business information that clients and potential clients would be looking for. Your Facebook business page will also show up in search results when someone searches for your business, which helps to increase your digital footprint and visibility.

Because Fb doesn't make it easy, I'm not surprised that your page hasn't done well. I encourage you to keep posting on it to keep it current, but to not pour a lot of effort into it if you don't feel called to. There are so many channels (Fb, IG, TT, YT, Twitter, etc.) that, if something doesn't resonate with us, we don't have to do it. I'm here to tell you that you don't have to do it!!! Sending blessings!
