Christian Stone | Standing Stones Healing Co. It's common for us to get into a low vibe state, and it's actually a natural and normal human thing. If we have the expectation that we're always going to be high vibe, that we're never going to have low vibration experiences, we are setting up unrealistic expectations for ourselves. So, let's first release those unrealistic expectations and know that sometimes we're going to feel a little funky, and that's part of the human experience. And when we do, Reiki can help. Here's how... 1. Self-Reiki If you are attuned to Reiki Level 1, using the hand positions for self-Reiki, even in just one hand position, setting the intention and laying your hands on yourself, is going to help raise your vibration. One thing that can also help in this is bringing mindfulness to the self-Reiki practice to help raise the vibration even more. Bringing mindfulness to your Reiki practice is always going to help raise your vibe, and mindfulness is really what Reiki is all about at its core. Yes, we can send Reiki to ourselves in a mindless kind of way and Reiki the energy will still do its thing. But when we bring mindfulness to the experience, we are bringing a greater sense of presence, and we are raising the vibe even more. Anytime that we can be mindful and present is a vibe-raising moment because mindfulness really helps us to raise our vibration. Having a raised vibration, living high vibe, is really about living in the present moment and bringing mindfulness to an increasing number of moments. Since we're humans, so that's not always easy, so please be gentle with yourself when you have those challenges, be kind to yourself, release judgment of yourself, and just bring yourself back to the present moment. So self-Reiki is wonderful for raising our vibe, especially by bringing mindfulness to that self-Reiki practice. And if you are not attuned to Reiki, just bringing mindfulness to each moment and an increasing number of moments is going to raise your vibe for sure. 2. Receiving Reiki Receiving Reiki can also help with raising our vibration, whether in person or distance. In receiving Reiki, we are opening ourselves up to assistance, welcoming in new energy, and setting the intention that we are open to new and different possibilities. We're also, depending upon how we're receiving Reiki, setting aside time in our schedule to relax, be present, and focus on ourselves. Taking time for ourselves, including in a mindful moment of receiving Reiki, will help raise our vibration. This can be especially powerful if we are Reiki practitioners who don't often receive Reiki, so receiving Reiki from another practitioner is indeed going to raise your vibe. 3. Practicing the Precepts Practicing the Precepts, the Principles, is going to help us raise our vibe as well. The principles are ultra high-vibe living. If just for today, you feel grateful and just for today, you do not worry – that's high-vibe for sure. If you want to raise your vibration, just do one of those five things in the Principles, and immediately your vibe is raised. If you do all five of them every day, that's some powerful high-vibe living. No matter where you are on your Reiki journey, living the Principles is indeed going to raise your vibration, guaranteed.
