How to Start a Reiki Business

Wondering how to start your Reiki business?
Here are a few tips:

1. Decide to start.
Make the decision and commit to starting. 

This is easier said than done because of our fears, uncertainties, doubts, and confusion. Know you're not alone if you feel this way when you think about starting a Reiki business. But at some point, in order to start a Reiki business, we have to move from thinking about it to actually doing it. 

2. Know your why. 
Knowing why you're starting a Reiki business will help to keep you moving forward when things get challenging. I like the 7 Whys exercise in which you ask why you want to start a Reiki business and then "why" to that answer and on and on until you hit the seventh "why." It's a powerful exercise that will help you get to the root of why you want to start a Reiki business. The answer might surprise you. 

3. Define your Reiki business model. Your business model is what you do and how you do it. This changes as our Reiki business journey unfolds, but when you're starting out, it's important to have an idea of what you want to do...whether in-person sessions, distance sessions, selling products, teaching classes, or etc. For instance, my own Reiki business model is hybrid: my Reiki business is both online and in-person and includes sessions, courses, and card reading.
