Christian Stone | Standing Stones Healing Co. I had a professional website made and had SEO optimization work done that was costly and didn't seem to yield any results. It's costly to revamp and I don't have the patience to go about it on my own. What I really need is a link that lists different distance Reiki services and takes payment. Link Tree isn't what I am wanting to do. Any suggestions of a really simple solution that's not incredibly expensive? I'm sorry for your website challenges. It's true that an expensive website and fancy SEO work don't always have the desired outcome. But creating a free or low-cost website is a common question among Reiki practitioners who are just getting started with their Reiki business and want to save money.
Yes, there are a couple of ways that you can create a free kinda website without using something like LinkTree. Here is the way that I recommend approaching it. 1. Create an account with an email sender, like MailChimp, ConvertKit, or Mailerlite. These are free services, typically up to 1,000 email subscribers. ConvertKit (now just "Kit") and MailerLite each offer a free plan up to 1,000 subscribers. MailChimp is free up to 500, though they have great flexibility with their landing pages. The focus for this purpose, though, is on using it to create a landing page. 2. Create a landing page. In the email sender's software, you can create what's called a landing page. It's a standalone page. Some platforms might call it a "site" or "page," but this is a page that you can design. Email senders will have templates that you can use or you can design your own. You can pretty much do whatever you want with this kind of page (except add html code). You can add images, your services, and etc. to make a simple one page website. 3. Add a button or buttons on the landing page that link to your payment processor or calendar. However you are accepting payment or booking clients, you can have a link to where people can purchase. So let's say you create a 1 hour Reiki session as a product or payment link in PayPal or Stripe. This product will have its own unique payment link. Create a button (found in the landing page builder) that, when someone clicks on it, sends them to the product URL. This link can also be to your booking site. Sf you have a booking link, like in Calendly or TidyCal (both have free versions!), you can share the link for all of your booking options. Or if you want to have one booking type per button, you can just paste in the URL for the individual link for a specific appointment type. People can now visit the landing page and pay you. 4. Share the link to your landing page with clients and potential clients. Once you create a landing page, you can publish it and it will be live for anyone to access with the URL. This page will have its own unique link that you can share like you would any other link. It will be a long and unsightly link that isn't very pretty. But if you don't like the link, you can use a link shortener like Bitly to turn it into something prettier. So plug the landing page link into Bitly (another free service) and customize the backend. Voila! You have a free (kinda) website where your clients can book and people can learn more about you and your services. Comments are closed.
