Christian | Standing Stones Healing Co. I can’t find insurance for distance sessions with people in other countries. Can I get sued? I am in Australia and want to offer sessions to people in the US. Do I have them sign a waiver? Is that even legally binding?
Christian | Standing Stones Healing Co. Is insurance required for a Reiki business? If so, what kind of insurance is it and what are the scenarios where it is required? Many thanks.

I'm in the startup process and planning on offering distance Reiki from home but would also like the possibility of doing in-person sessions by renting or working out of a shared space (hotel spa, beauty salon, vet's office, yoga studio, etc) and also going to client's homes. I live in the county of Los Angeles, so it seems like depending on where you conduct business, you need a business license from the city you're doing business in. Are multiple business licenses needed if your home operation is City A, but you rent a space in city B, and see clients in cities C, D, E?

I have been practicing Reiki for two months now, over 12 hands-on sessions completed, and have been asked by several, “what do you charge.” I am in California and do NOT have a business. In terms of charging a fee, is a “liability form” wise, especially as I branch out to others? Can I not charge unless I have an official business (LLC or S-Corp??)

How did you go about choosing your name? I’ve been meditating hoping it will pop up, but no luck yet.
